Participants arrive independently in Palermo and check in at the 4-star hotel. Rooms are available from the afternoon, with luggage storage available for early arrivals.

In the late afternoon, the group meets the Tour Leader and begins a guided walking tour through Palermo’s historic center, exploring lively streets shaped by Arab, Norman, and Baroque influences, and passing landmarks such as Teatro Massimo, Quattro Canti, and traditional local markets (2 hours walking tour).
The evening continues with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, offering a first introduction to traditional Sicilian cuisine.
The day is dedicated to Palermo’s artistic and culinary heritage, starting with a guided visit to Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cappella Palatina, admired for its extraordinary mosaics and layered history, followed by an exterior visit to Palermo Cathedral (morning guided visit).
The experience continues with a street food tour through the city’s historic markets, where participants sample iconic local specialties while learning about their origins and traditions (street food tasting experience).

After check-out, the group travels across Sicily toward Siracusa, enjoying scenic countryside views en route to Agrigento (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes drive). Upon arrival, participants visit the Valley of the Temples Archaeological Park, one of the best-preserved Greek sites in the Mediterranean, exploring temples such as Concordia, Juno, and Heracles with a licensed guide (guided archaeological visit).
After check-out, the group travels across Sicily toward Siracusa, enjoying scenic countryside views en route to Agrigento (approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes drive). The journey continues to the coastal village of Marzamemi (approximately 30 minutes drive), where lunch is served at a local trattoria followed by free time to explore the historic piazza and seaside atmosphere.
In the late afternoon, the group returns to Siracusa before boarding a sunset boat tour along the coast, enjoying Prosecco and light snacks while admiring Ortigia from the sea (sunset boat experience). The evening is at leisure.
After a relaxed morning, participants travel to a local estate on the slopes of Mount Etna, where a traditional Sicilian lunch is served alongside a guided wine tasting focused on Etna’s volcanic terroir (lunch and wine tasting experience).
The tour continues to Taormina, where participants visit the Teatro Antico, renowned for its dramatic setting overlooking the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna (guided site visit). Free time follows for exploring Taormina’s historic center, shops, and cafés, complemented by a pistachio tasting.
The day concludes with a gourmet dinner in Taormina before returning to Siracusa (approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive).
The morning is free before departing for a local wine cellar, where participants enjoy a guided visit, wine tasting, and lunch featuring regional specialties (wine cellar visit and tasting).
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Modica, a Baroque town famous for its unique chocolate-making tradition. A visit to an artisan chocolate laboratory introduces the traditional cold-processing method, followed by a tasting of various flavors. After time to explore the historic center, the group returns to Siracusa (approximately 1 hour drive). The evening is at leisure.
After check-out, the group departs Siracusa for Catania, located at the foot of Mount Etna. A guided walking tour explores the UNESCO-listed historic center, including Via Etnea, Piazza Duomo, the Elephant Fountain, and the lively fish market (guided city walk).
Lunch is served at a traditional trattoria before continuing the journey to Palermo (afternoon transfer). Upon arrival, participants check in at the hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner is at leisure.
After breakfast, participants check out and depart independently, marking the conclusion of the tour.
